Welcome to the Glorya Kaufman Online Archive!
The Glorya Kaufman Archive is a unique, living archive that is curated by Glorya herself. Through photographs, letters, papers, artworks, awards, and press clippings, the story of her life unfolds. Visitors to the archive can trace Glorya’s start in philanthropy locally and nationally, from the development of the Donald Bruce Kaufman Library in Brentwood and the USC Kaufman International School of Dance to continued support for world-renown performing arts programs and education opportunities at Juilliard, Alvin Ailey, Intercity Arts, and Vista Del Mar. To ensure that the lessons of her experiences are available to all those interested in dance, philanthropy, and a life of purposeful giving, the Glorya Kaufman Archive will be made accessible at the Wende Museum through the Glorya Kaufman Creative Community Center through a Legacy Portal.
